5 creative ways to get the most out of your business cards

Business cards are an extremely powerful tool. In most cases, they are the first piece of printed material that our potential clients see from our business, so they need to be spot-on. You only get one chance at a first impression and your business cards are the perfect opportunity to show your clients that you mean business. With hundreds of different styles and finishes to choose from, we aim to work with you to create a business card that wow’s your customers.

So, with years of experience in designing and printing luxury business cards for our clients, we have put together our 5 favourite ways to make your business cards stand out:

1.      Spot-UV Business Cards– This is where part of your card is “shiny” e.g. your logo. These are a cost effective way of making your business cards stand out and with the right design, they can look extremely effective! Watch as people will run their fingers over the spot gloss surface, wondering “how did they do that”.

2.      Die-cut Business Cards – This is where your business cards are cut to a bespoke shape. They can be any shape you want and you will have a custom cutting forme created just for you. They can be cut to the shape of your logo or cut to the shape of your products.

3.      Old School Letterpress Business Cards – This is an old-school printing method that is making a comeback! This is where you can have (as the name suggests) certain letters/shapes pressed into your cards.

4.      Foiled Business Cards – Nothing say’s quality like a gold foil (or any other colour foil). These are one of our favourite cards to print, they really give a luxury feel to the cards. You can even combine this finishing with other methods such as spot UV to create an extremely creative card!

5.      Clear Plastic Business Cards – Clear plastic cards are another favourite of ours. They really stand out from the ‘standard’ cards and will really help impress your customers.
